The floral print is a total hit this summer. That`s why we would like to show you how to make cute, little roses on your nails easily. This lovely nail design will go perfect with your summer wardrobe and it is ideal for both the beach and the disco.
Start with a base coat, which will protect your nails from getting yellow. Once it is completely dry, paint your nails with jade (or minty) green nail polish.
To draw the beautiful roses you will need a dotting tool, red and medium pink nail polish. Each nail can accommodate three or four roses, depending on the area.
You will need a drop of each nail polish, because it will make it easier to work with the dotting tool Start with the red and draw an arc in the top left corner , then 4 arcs, one into another, as shown at the bottom left corner and two arcs with one starting point in the middle of the right side.
Clean the dotting tool and use the medium pink to draw two arcs above and under the first arc in the top left side, fill in the spaces between and above the arcs at the bottom left side and repeat the procedure with the arcs in the middle of the right side.
Now it is time to make the forms look like real roses. Use the dotting tool to make more arcs as shown on the picture in order to get a round shape of the forms and a beautiful blend between red and medium pink. If there is enough space, do not hesitate to draw one more rose at the bottom right side.
Use green polish to draw leaves. If you look closer the roses are not precise, but actually this is the secret to give them a “real look” on your nails.
When the roses are completely dry, apply a top coat and enjoy the summer.
